Well, I am at college. I have almost fully moved in. I still have some shifting around and decorating to do. Yesterday was a free day because I already had completed orientation earlier in the summer. I worked on my room, ran some errands, had lunch with my sister, shopped at Wal-Mart (of course), then tanned in her backyard. After that she brought me back to my dorm. I went and had my first meal in the World Famous Bean, which is the ACU cafeteria. They were having a banquet for orientation kids, so staff and supplies were low, but it was still good. I have grilled chicken and race covered in brown gravy and a salad. I went right after tanning so I didn't look to hott, but who cares haha. I did meet some other freshman girls that were real nice. They aren't in my dorm though. I had to go through this line for welcome week registration and met a girl real close to me on my floor that seemed sweet, but I can't remember her name! haha, thank goodness for our nametags! haha. I got some free shirts there too! ANYWAY!
After that I came back to my room and did my amazing Hip Hop Abs workout video...my abs are sore and the burn feels good! Then I cleaned up and did more work on my room, hooking up my cable and stuff. I HAVE TV IN MY ROOM..CABLE! It's nice! Some channels aren't coming through, so I still have some work to do. Then my sister came and got me and since my cable was being lame, we went to her house to watch our show Greek. Then she brought me back. When we got to my room Kimberly my roommate had three girls in here, from Color Gaurd. They were nice and we hung out for a while. After they left we just chilled and made phone calls. We went to sleep after talking, but it took a while because our lame corner neighbor apparently sleeps with their lights on ALL night. BUT, we're getting curtains up today so that should be good.
Today I slept in finally for the first time till 9:45! I made my first smoothie in my lil smoothie maker and it was soooo good! Strawberry bannana! YUm! Kimberly and I tried to get the curtains up, but ran out of time before she had to go to practice. So I built our TV Table Rack...yeah not the most structurally sound piece or work, but it does its job! haha. A little after 1PM, she will come back to change and we will go get a bite to eat in the bean together, which should be nice. Then we officially start Welcome Week at 2pm! So I will write about that later! I will post some pics up of my room soon. For now...I miss you all and hope you aren't crying every minute without me. I know life without me in it is slightly less amusing and fun...but I shall visit and talk and make up for it! Much love!_SarahCorinne

Testing my site...
I had to run in the house for just a minute and got your message so of course I had to look! I love the colors but, as an old woman, a larger font would keep me from leaving my nose print on Dad's moniter! I'm so glad you are getting out and around with Kate and also building your own 'world'! Glad to hear you're getting unpacked and you and Kimber are getting situated. I can't wait to see pictures. Gotta go quick cause I left the truck running! Love you!!!!
Oh, and since I did my 'mama' thing with Kate about grammar, you have to get the 'watch your grammar and spelling' speech. There, that was it. Love you most!
So glad that you are settling in to college. You are going to have such a fantastic time, but we will miss you. Be sure and let us know when you are coming home for a visit so that Colt and I can come up. Don't know if you heard, but Colt fractured his clavicle the day after he got back from Panama in a skateboarding accident. We are going today to get it "wrapped." Unfortunately, it is his left shoulder, he's left-handed, and school starts on Monday. Plus he is supposed to be in the band, but don't know how he's going to pull that off given that the doctor said it will take four to six weeks for his bone to heal. Say a prayer for him and his clavicle!
Kisses and Hugs from Baytown,
Aunt Deana
