Well, I've made it through all my classes my first day. I had four. I got up at 7:00 AM to clean-up and leave in time to find my first class at 8:00.
It started with English. My teacher looked REALLY young. However, he said he's been here, I believe in Abilene, for 27 years, so I guess he's older than he looked. We just went over who he is and then we went over who we are. We said our name, major, and why we chose ACU. Then we went over the syllabus. We will be writing four major papers and be keeping a journal. I really like my professor and it sounds like I really like the way he is headed. It only lasted about 35 minutes.
I left there and came back to my room for a little bit. I unloaded some books and then took off to Math. BLUH! If you don't know already I HATE math and it is my weakest subject. My teacher seems nice though. I met a friend of mine's roommate and she was cool. There were also some other people I knew in there. So hopefully we can all work through it together. We just spent 30 minutes going over the syllabus and stuff to know.
I went strait from there to opening chapel and sat with my gang. It's grown and its fun. They had all these flag presentations, band playing, people introductions, blah blah boring haha. But after we all went to eat at the Bean. We had about 12 people trying to fit in a space for 8 haha. INTERESTING!
After that I came back to my room to sleep for an hour. If a girl from my U100 hadn't called me to ask where we were meeting...I would've probably slept through it haha. But I made it just 2 minutes late and they hadn't started. We meet in the conference room at the coffee shop so its cool. This class was giving information, meeting some new people to our group, and talking about the expectations that we and our teacher had for our class. It's going to be an amazing class with great discussion. We will end up so close together as our family away from home, closer to God, and hopefully conquer world and social issues we have or will. We ran a little late so I had few minutes to RUSH across the entire campus to my Bible class.
I got there 3 minutes late but it was all good. This class is 1 hr and 20 minutes, yikes. but it went ok. We talked about the syllabus, but first he told us alot about him. He told us the most important thing to know was this, his daughter is 16 months old and her name is Brynn Kyler (which I love that name) and his wifes name is Anne. So it was neat. We then went over the syllabus and policies. After that we took role call and shared a little bit about ourselves. Then real quick he threw out the question, What was so great about Jesus that he recieved so much attention positive or negative. It got PRETTY interesting. So yeah that was good.
I came back to my room and Kimber was here. We're just chilling and about to go to dinner. Tonight Kate is coming over to watch our TV show Greek and its a blast. So I will talk to you all later! I'm going to go eat now. Love you all and love hearing from you!

Wow, Dad beat me to this one! We got to sleep in this morning because he had an off-site meeting so he got on the computer before me. It really looks like you are going to take full advantage of the opportunities at ACU this year including U100 - more so than either of the other two. It's nice to have friends in your classes also and know you can help each other out. Do you have your bike yet to help you get around campus? I can't help but wonder if you're going to give in and start drinking coffee between Kate and having U100 at the coffee shop!
Love you!!
